Hunt Season is Upon Us! Next - Seven Deadly Sins - Lust!

Well, the pirate lass has returned from her summer voyage, and is sailing straight into - HUNT SEASON!

AZE Designs will be in two enjoyable hunts this fall, with hopefully more to follow in the winter.

The Seven Deadly Sins Hunt series will begin on Monday, September 13!  The featured sin will be LUST!  What does a pirate lass lust for?  Gold of course, but also the creature comforts to make her cabin her own - fine Paris perfumes and lace!  But mostly - she lusts for his "sword," and for his heart!  Also, a man's item may sneak its way into the hunt apple.  Come to the main store the week of September 13-20, for your bit of lust.

Gear & Hearts! Victorian Etched Glass, Remnants of Industry, Shades of Old London...

Would a pirate lass be consorting in old London?  Only if she had something precious to sell or to acquire!  I like to think our plucky miss ventured from a safe harbor up the coast down to London town - perhaps the ship needed a complicated piece of machinery for navigation (her father always sent her on strange errands.)

Perhaps she stumbled upon a stash of bright golden gears that inspired her!  She traded some of the random pearls on hand for a red velvet bag of them.  As she walked cloaked through the upscale shopping districts, etched glass lamp globes caught her eye.  Through her connections at the harbor, she found out where the factories where, and "procured" some samples.  Quietly traveling back to where the ship waited, she delivered the navigational device, then hurried to her cabin where she spread out her new treasures...

These necklaces were made exclusively for the 2010 Broken Heart Hunt!  Since most of the hunt items I place on sale are for a reasonable L$50, you can have this set of three necklaces for a song!

A (Near) Perfect Set of Pearls - AZE Pearl Necklaces

"Our pirate lass found a cache of luminous pearls and a spool of silken thread buried deep in the treasure chest.  During the long voyage to the Orient, she fashioned beautiful pearl necklaces - lovely enough for Triton's daughters!"


And I say "near" because of some modesty, but I must admit that I'm quite happy with these.  I created the three sizes of pearl necklaces out of frustration with what was available in world - how can one line up some white round objects, with no real connectors, and call them quality pearls?  And then charge an outrageous L$3000 for them?  *shakes head*

In the "real" world, quality pearls are strung on silk thread, and then knotted separately, so, in case of breakage (a moment of passion or clumsiness) the precious pearls are not all lost in one fell swoop.  These pearls have been individually placed, with an actual "knot" and "string" between each one!   The pearls are also slightly graduated in size, as they would be in "real life" - a slight "glow" gives these pearls a realistic luster. 



A discreet gold bead with the AZE logo at the back finishes the piece.

These pearls come in three lengths, short, medium, and long - and are all very reasonably priced!  A perfect gift or accessory for that special lady, or even a bridesmaid gift for your wedding attendants!

Dananns' Doubloons - At Last!

Hurrah!  The Dananns' Doubloons Jewelry Set is here at last!  While the initial necklace and earrings were designed for a limited time in-world Hunt specifically, the set has been rounded out by a double chain bracelet featuring the same motifs.






The gold Spanish doubloons, the large, oval-set emeralds, and the delicate gold shamrocks studded with marquise-cut emeralds are connected by unique & delicate links of gold chain.  A perfect marriage of Eire and Iberian!






Our pirate lass had heard of the dark haired, blue-green eyed descendants of Spanish Armada shipwrecked sailors and their lovely red-haired Irish brides.  She hardly cared until she met a dashing young corsair who caught her eye - he was the typical "black Irish" lad, with stunning blue eyes and dark hair. 





When she "stumbled" upon an old trunk of Spanish doubloons and South American emeralds, she was inspired to create the Dananns' Doubloons jewelry line!

Welcome to the World of AZE Designs! Jewelry Inspired by a Pirate Lass' Findings!

My jewelry designs are inspired by a pirate lass' "findings," acquired during her ocean adventures!  I make original necklaces, earrings, bracelets and various neko jewelry items using leather, gold, silver, jade, coral, pearl, as well as bits and pieces of "found" items.  I like to have fun with my designs, always adding a detail that requires the wearer to really LOOK!  And everything always has a story!
